DIY Flagpole Installation
- To install your flagpole first dig a foundation hole. The size of the hole is dependent on how big your flag is.
- Next, you need to fill the hole with five full bags of ready-mixed concrete or until your hole is full. We recommend a minimum of 25MPA for the concrete. Bunnings sell appropriate concrete.
- Using the template provided by Adda, cast the foundation bolts in place, roughly where you would like your flagpole to sit, into the concrete whilst wet.
- Pour concrete and fill the hole to approx. 100mm from the top.
- Leave the newly concreted hole for three whole days.
- When the concrete has fully set, you can stand the pole and securely bolt down with the foundation bolts.
